So far in the  recent past years, the strike action has been reoccurring every year that it has to be reflecting on every Nigerian student curricular activities and seen as a factor to be considered in setting up plans. The very pertinent factor here is that in every session, there is a time giving (but not seen in the normal curricular activities) to strike action and this most often times ranges from at least 2weeks to at most 6months. Through the last decade, the academic calendar of Nigerian universities has been disrupted by the sessional strike repeating itself with know resolution to the problem.
