Cristiano Ronaldo Delivers New Year Message As He 'Tells Florentino Perez What Real Madrid Need In January Window'

Cristiano Ronaldo has delivered a New Year message to his fans after sharing a picture of his triumphs on Twitter.
Posing with his trophies - including his five Balon d'Or przies - Ronaldo is seen smiling in front of the stunning coastal backdrop in his native Madeira.
The Real Madrid superstar has spent some time there with his family during the current La Liga winter break.
And he posted the following message to his legion of over 67million followers on the social network: "When I played on the streets of Madeira and dreamed of getting to the top didn't think that they would be taking a picture like that.

"I dedicate this moment to my family, friends, teammates, coaches and Club structures and selection. A special thanks to the fans.
"These trophies are also yours!"
But with Zinedine Zidane's men beaten by rivals Barcelona in El Clasico before Christmas, the former Manchester United No.7 is determined to restore Real to the top in 2018.
Florentino Perez has been handed a list by Ronaldo outlining what he believes Real Madrid need from the January transfer window, according to reports in Spain.
Real head into the second half of the season in fourth place in La Liga - a whole 14 points off leaders Barca.
Ronaldo is reportedly unhappy with the depth in the Real squad at the moment and wants to see Bernabeu chief Perez help bolster the ranks.
Athletic Bilbao goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabelaga is reportedly top of Ronaldo's wish list for January, with the Spanish international stopper poised to move.
